Shakespeare full name William Shakespeare, a great English writer and poet, was born to John Shakespeare and Mary Arden on 26th April 1564, in Stratford-upon-Avon, in Warwickshire, England. Though Shakespeare’s birth date is baptised and unknown, it is traditionally observed on 23rd April. Shakespeare, the England’s national poet is also known as “Bard of Avon”.
